TOMOS D5

This is the first Tomos designed as a road racing machine. Tomos built 4 such machines for the factory team in 1960. In this year Heinrich Rosenbusch won a race from the series of Moto-Cup Hockenheim. For the following season the 4 machines were just updated and on 14th of May the Slovene rider Miro Zelnik won the Hockenheim GP. The exhibited motorcycle is the only one still existing.
